Dreamy Crystal Coast Engagement on a Boat in Morehead City

From shots on the couple’s family boat to beautiful portraits on Sugarloaf Island, we can’t get enough of Abby and Parker’s sweet love story. After meeting through a mutual friend, the two talked and laughed for hours, and later that first night, Parker declared he was going to marry Abby. Now, in their upcoming July wedding at the Crystal Coast Country Club, the pair is most excited to be getting married so close to the place where it all began 5 years ago!

“While this story is one for the books, I have to say I think the most memorable for me is probably the day that I realized how much I loved him. It was that same summer, not long after we had met and gotten together. We spent the day watching movies while it was raining. It was about lunchtime, and he asked if I wanted anything to eat. My answer was "Duh, Mac N Cheese please!!". But I am a picky eater, so I made sure to also tell him "But I like my Mac N Cheese done with milk and butter, instead of just water.". I could have sworn he knew what I meant... Until I turned around to see him pouring milk into the boiling water and noodles. That is when I knew.

Parker proposed to me in March this year, while on a boat cruise through Beaufort with both of our families. Boating has always been one of our favorite activities to do together, and the place we got engaged so I knew immediately I wanted our pictures done on the boat!” - Abby
