Surprise Anniversary Session at Celebration Cottage
Some sessions stop you in your tracks. The genuine love, heartfelt details, and remarkable style simply take your breath away. Today's surprise anniversary session does just that! Nate surprised his wife, Kait, with a wedding renewal full of romantic sentiments and her sister, Jessica from Common Dove Photography, was there to capture every adorable moment.
“This session was a surprise for my sister that her husband and I put together for her on their anniversary. They were married two years ago at The Celebration Cottage in Atlantic Beach, NC.
On her actual wedding day many things were not put out by the planner and we wanted to surprise her with a “re-do.” Our mother had hand dyed almost 200 vases that were supposed to be displayed in an ombre on the tables. Not a single one was put out two years ago so we displayed some of them on the stairs.
We also tried to recreate her other details like the cake, dinner and arbor display. The arbor is copper and hand built by our father. Her husband surprised her with some sweet words in a vow-renewal type set up. We finished it all with a portrait session—romance and happy tears galore!” – Jessica, Common Dove Photography
